ROBOT MOWER HUSQVARNA CEORA

This week, the Husqvarna CEORA robot mower will be permanently installed on hole 1, to monitor the mowing of fairways 1, 2 and 3 in the test phase. It will be programmed to mow fairway 1 twice a day and fairways 2 and 3 once, to see the differences in mowing. This machine will work 24 hours a day and is completely autonomous, i.e. when the battery is discharged, it will go to its base located in the left rough of hole 1, next to the well, to recharge. During irrigation hours it will rest as it cannot work with sprinklers. This machine has sensors which, in the presence of people, trees, posts, etc., will either avoid them or stop until the obstacle disappears. It may move the golf balls, so they will have to be put back in their original position without penalty. The test run of the machine will last for one month and after that its profitability will be studied. If any member touches or lifts it, a notification will be sent to the Greenkeeper’s mobile phone, as well as if it gets caught or falls into a ditch. There is no danger to people.
